Set of 6 magnificent hand carved mahogany dinning chairs, imported from England and dating back to C1880.
Each chair boasts a beautifully hand carved shell design to the top and bottom of the back.
They each retain the original brown leather upholstery with studded trim and horse hair padding. As you can see from the pictures, the leather is very worn but still looks great to leave as is and the seating is still very comfortable.
Each chair has 2 turned front legs terminating in original small casters.
Over all these chairs are in strong, sturdy condition with age appropriate flaws.
Dimensions: width 18 1/2", depth 19", height 36 1/2".
