Small antique Edwardian ladies side or vanity chair imported from England and dating back to the early 1900's.
This delicate, very pretty chair features a two tone inlay design to the top rail and inlaid stringing outlining the curves and lines of the chair back and front legs.
The shield back and seat are upholstered in the original fabric with studded trim which does show signs of wear and age but could still be left as is and look great.
There is minor wear throughout and some stringing missing to the front stretcher, bottom of legs and top rail. There is also some minor splitting to the right and left of the seat front which does not effect the structural integrity of the chair. All of this is shown in the pictures and as you can see it does not take away from the over all beauty of the piece and only adds to its character and charm.
There is some slight movement in the joints but nothing major and is ready to be put to every day use.
Dimensions: width 17", depth 19 3/4", seat height 16 3/4", back height 33 1/2".
