Set of 8 heavily carved Chippendale style dining chairs imported from England and dating back to the early 1900's.
This fabulous set of chairs are more chunky and robust than your average Chippendale style chairs. They are constructed from solid mahogany and display wonderful hand carved shells, scrolls and heavy ball and claw feet.
The drop in seats are upholstered in a peach colored fabric which is slightly worn and faded with some marks. However, the padding is still very firm and in great shape so they could easily be reupholstered to suit your decor.
These chairs display a wonderful aged patina and have an unusual burnt amber color finish. There has been a repair to the top back of one chair but it is strong and hardly noticeable. There is also some minor wear throughout the set which is nothing but age appropriate wear.
Over all this impressive set of chairs are in solid, sturdy condition and ready to grace the table of any formal or informal dining room.
