Antique English Chippendale chest on chest, in solid mahogany. In very good antique condition. This piece has been well used over the years, as it should be. Circa 1770.

The upper cornice has a carved Greek key over a carved frieze. A conforming case has quarter canted corners, 2 drawers of 3 graduating drawers. The solid brass hardware is old but not original. The bottom case with solid plank sides tops with a pull-out writing surface over 3 graduating drawers for a total 8 drawer chest! The insides of the drawers have been refinished. There is hand cut dovetailing on all the drawers. The bottom case sides have 20"W planks. Huge solid planks cover the entire back. Overall, this piece measures 22"D x 44"W x 73.5"H.
