This antique Empire Revival period mantel clock is crafted from white marble and features gilt bronze mounts including Roman numerals surrounded by wreath with serpents, and prominent ram heads at each corner. 19 x 11.5 x 9.5 inches. Its style is based on the original Empire period design by Charles Percier (1764-1838) and Pierre François Léonard Fontaine (1762-1853), founders of the neoclassical Empire style under Napoleon. Detailed condition report on the escapement upon request.
