This is a nice antique, early 1900's era electrical double pole knife type on/off switch with the white Porcelain base, and either brass or copper hardware and fittings. The handle is hardwood. There is one small chipped off areas on the screw clearench hole on the Porcelain, otherwise this switch is complete with all screws and a good functioning pivot and contacts on the switch lever. The base is 2.25 x 2.5". It will accept wire up to .15" diameter on all 4 posts. The black painted handle has one spot of missing paint, but very solid, no cracks. A unique electrical devise from the past!
