This Biedermeier style loveseat bench is in great condition. It appears to be from the early 1900’s and is solid and sturdy. The thick curved wood runs across the crest rail and flows right into the arms curving down to make massive “C” scrolls for knuckle grips. The piece sits low and is very simple and elegant. The upholstery is in great condition with no rips, tears, stains or odors. The fabric is deep burgundy with pale gold vines and leaves stitched into it. Exposed brass nail heads accentuate the trim. This is a beautiful piece. There are some nicks and scuffs in the feet and seat rail from typical use through the years. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This loveseat is antique and will not be perfect. This piece measures 34 7/8 inches tall, 53 inches side to side and 29 inches front to back. It weighs 78 pounds.
