A Very Fine and Impressive Antique Chinese Porcelain Meiping Vase from the Yuan Dynasty. from the years 1295 to 1300. The vase is decorated with a finely depicted figures of a Maiden and a Wizard. When examined under a high powered magnifying glass, the glaze shows similarities to soap-bubbles and is even over the entire surface of the jar. The bottom, and the interior of the jar shows the clay to be of the period and is in fact an excellent example. When the surface is struck with a small wooden mallet, a clear, high pitched bell-like tone is produced. This impressive piece is in excellent condition, with no cracks, breaks, chips or repairs.
