You are looking at a beautiful antique chair by Karpen Furniture Company. We do have a sofa and another chair that are upholstered in coordinating fabric for sale in our store, be sure to check them out as well. This mahogany wing chair is from the early 1900’s and has fresh upholstery on it. The Karpen tag has been reapplied after the upholstery was updated. The crest rail has a pressed wood design and the mahogany flows all the way down both arms to the seat rail. There are short Queen Anne style legs with scrolls on the knees on the front of the chair. This chair is so comfortable and classy. The chair sits low and feels like it wraps around you. The upholstery is a deep shade of Bordeaux wine brown with a soft textured velvet feel. The cushions are nice a firm. The seat cushion is reversible. There are a few nicks in the wood trim but overall this chair is in excellent condition. I do not know the exact date the chair was made. This chair is antique and may not be perfect. Measurements are 31 7/8 inches tall, 30 5/8 inches side-to-side and 32¾ inches front to back. It weighs 49 pounds.
