Antique Cast Iron Corn Pone Cornbread Pan. Griswold and Wager Cast Iron was produced from 1865 through the late 1950s, this piece dates to the 1930 to 1950 era. One of the benefits of cooking with cast iron is that even the oldest pieces can be used and enjoyed without worry of damage. Cast Iron is considered by many to be of health benefit due to the iron content of this type of cookware and many people say that nothing compares to food that cooked in cast iron.

This piece is not marked as to whether it was made by Wagner or Griswold, it is a quality piece and was no doubt made by one of these two companies. The only marking on this piece is D, it is 12 1/2" by 7" by 1" deep, makes twelve pieces and has the handled ends with holes in the end for hanging on the wall if desired.

It is in very good condition, needs some light cleaning, perfect addition to your cast iron collection or daily cooking. Please see our other listings for additional pieces of cast iron. Shipping is less for combined purchases then the above quoted individual cost per item combined and will be adjusted after your order is placed.
