Antique Cakes Tin, Safe Telette Made in England that is dark Olive Green Plaid Squares. This is rare in design and manufacturer.
The plaid square lines have shading that bleeds into the green. The bottom is marked Telette Regist made in England. It hand a hinged lid and a carrying handle and there is a hasp closure mechanism. Apparently there is the option to lock up the goods inside. This could have been for a store display. It is 7"tall and 11" across.
The condition is very good for age but there are some scratches here and there and more scratches on the black paint on the bottom. The insides are clean just the normal patina that one would expect.
