This is a very nice antique buffet server. The piece is made of ¼-sawn tiger Oak and the grain is beautiful. There is a short top shelf above the backsplash mirror. The mirror appears to be original and it does have some slight fogging and freckling. The backsplash mirror is beveled and flanked by “S” corbels supporting the upper shelf. The base has 4 drawers and 2 doors all with wood knob pulls. The two top drawers are bow front. The drawer on the left is lined with faded green velvet and divided into 3 sections. The drawers all have dovetail construction and glide in and out easily. The doors hide open storage. Casters sit beneath the large curved Empire style feet on all 4 legs. This piece does have some nicks and scuffs from the years however it is in overall great condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. This buffet measures 55 1/8 inches tall, 61 ¾ inches side to side and 25 3/8 inches front to back. It weighs 240 pounds.
