An elegant antique bronze entry doorknob set in P. & F. Corbin’s “Holland” pattern, c. 1905. The doorknobs feature a graceful design of volutes and acanthus leaves with beading; the doorplates are ornamented with a beaded oval at the top and bottom, surrounded by leaves and scrolls with beading throughout. This entry set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle, a mortise lock, and two doorplates. The doorknobs are 2-1/4” in diameter and 2” deep. The lock has an approx. 2-5/8” backset, and its faceplate is 1” by 6-3/4”, with a lock body approx. 3-1/2” by 4-1/2”. The exterior doorplate is 3” wide and 11-3/8” long, and the interior plate is 2-3/8” by 8”.
