Antique 19th century massive silver mounted Arabian DHARIA dagger Jambiya, from the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz, and Asir.
Details: A rhino horn grip richly decorated with silver filigree and bead work, a long double edged curved blade with median ridge, a leather covered wooden scabbard, with silver locket decorated en suite with the hilt, and set with a red oval stone, a silver chape with a brass band decorated with chevrons.

This type of Jambiya is known amongst collectors as the Wahabite Arab Jambiya, the term is incorrect, the right name of this type of dagger is DHARIA.
CONDITION: In good condition and shape considering its age, with signs of age and usage, the horn chipped with old cracks.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length with the scabbard: 49.5 cm (19 1/2 in).
