A large authentic antique, 19th century, Qing Dynasty, Chinese Canton porcelain Famille-Rose vase. A baluster body with a trumpet neck and a slightly scalloped rim, applied with moulded handles in the form of the temple foo dog. The body finely hand painted in bright enamel with two large opposing rectangular central panels enclosing an audience scene on the terrace, a dignitary seated at a table attended by aristocracy, and two smaller panels with Mandarins figures, all reserved against turquoise-ground. The sides decorated with blossoming peonies and perching birds on the yellow-ground.


CONDITION: The main body free of cracksor restauration,only the rim slightly chiped with some old repair on one of the chips.Please see the pictures.
