You are looking at a very rare gyrocompass repeater that was patented March 4, 1919. The Sperry Gyroscope Company of New York made this item and it is labeled a Mark XV Mod.O. The casing and pedestal are brass and have a great patina. The face of the dial is black and white with the stylized rose pointing N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W and NW. Surrounding the directional compass is a degree compass that shows 0 to 359 in a golden looking ring. The āNā on the compass is marked with a fleur-de-lis. This compass is in great condition and will be a nice addition to any maritime collection. Be sure to check out all the photos below. I do not know the exact date it was made. It is antique and will not be perfect. This item measures 53 ¼ inches tall, 15 inches side to side and 15 inches front to back. It weighs 140 pounds. We do have
