We would like to share this cast iron apple peeler by Reading Hardware Co., circa 1877. This item works beautifully. It has one large wheel and a smaller one with a fork style gear that holds the apple in place. There is a bolt to anchor the peeler to a table or work bench. It works beautifully. This is still a useful item, or you just may want to display it as vintage collectible kitchenware. A beautiful piece.
