This is a very nice, clean, antique kitchen collectible, with a bell shaped vegetable chopper or cutter blade. The handle is iron and is marked "N.R.S. & CO. GROTON N.Y. PAT'D MAY.2.93 NO. 40. It's in great shape! The blade section is steel, and is removeable for cleaning or sharpening. The blade is actually 2 pieces, so it's easy to sharpen if need be. This one doesn't appear to have ever been sharpened, and is sharp. A very nice design!
