Northwood Glass Company was founded by Harry Northwood, a glassmaker who worked for several other glass houses before he opened his own firm. One factory was in Indiana, PA, and the other in Wheeling, WV. This is a rectangular dish (4.5" by 7") in the ever-popular hobnail. Harry Northwood was one of the great glassmakers of the era, and this piece is a fine example of his work.
