This elegant piece of porcelain exemplifies the art of Noritakes decorators. The scene, all done by hand, shows a forest with a swan about to land in a cool pool of water. The composition, with its gnarled trees and romantic air, is inspired by the Barbizon painters of France. Handles and rims are trimmed in gold.
MEASURES: 9-1/2 inch diameter, 11-5/8 inches overall width, 3-1/4 inches high.
MARKED: Noritake with M as seen in photo.

Very good to Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, dings or repairs found.
