Here's an interesting advertising thermometer piece that's not seen too often - None Such New England Mince Meat - Like Mother Used to Make advertising thermometer. It was made to look like a pie. There is a patent date of May 9, 1888. The thermometer works. The back of the thermometer has rusted and there is rust on the front edges. The "pie" is slightly faded and there is some staining to the face. However, this is a rare item. If you are a collector of advertising thermometers, this is a nice one. This is on consignment.
