Beautifully hand painted pitcher with violets front and back on a pale green background. Tiny gold moriage beads around upper rim; gold line trim throughout. Unmarked, though has the typical shape and decoration of Nippon porcelain, and a distinctly shaped bottom. Circa late 1800's. Measures 6"h with a 4.5"d base. Slight wear to gold on high points. No chips or cracks. Sold as is. Price recently reduced.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
