Nineteenth century Dutch oil on canvas attributed to Andreas Schelfout, "Skaters on a Frozen Pond." The attribution to Schelfout is a very solid one, determined by the path, the figures, the execution of the pond scene, and the sky. Although this painting is unsigned, it could very well be by Schelfout or Frederick Marianus Kruzman or Gunther Hartwick. Dimensions: 35" x 30" framed in its original frame.
