This is a very small pocket tin. It was made by Ferris & Co., Bristol, England with E.Fougera & Co., Distributors, New York, NY. The extremely fine print reads: "Net Weight 12-2GM. A confection containing liqourice, menthol, eucalyptus and other aromatics. Note directions on inside of cover". This was a very involved printing process containing 6 colors on the cover of such a small tin container. Directions are printed inside the cover and a Caution is printed on the back. There is very small print on the sides of the cover that read: " to aid the voice in common cold" and on the opposite side "to sooth the throat in common cold". I am estimating this to be from the early 1900's. There is a small amount of the print layers flaking off in the lower left hand corner and an extremely small scratch in the center of the name as can be seen in the picture
