Included here is a silver centerpiece and matching compotes by Bruckmann and Sohne of Heilbronn Germany, circa 1886-1890s. Centerpiece measures 19" wide, 9" deep and 5" high, and the side dishes measure 7.5" across and 5" tall. They carry the Bruckmann and Sohne maker's mark, plus the designer's name, Posen, and the 800 silver purity mark and national German marks which date the set to after 1886. Each has its original inner vessel and all pieces are in excellent condition. The centerpiece features reticulated sides with a motif at the crest with flaming torch and arrow quiver within a tied ribbon. This set will compliment any center or dining table, or sideboard in a neoclassical or classical decor.
