Navajo Silver Belt Buckle Mosaic Rodeo Bull & Rider

Unavailable
Signed Native American Sterling Belt Buckle with Bucking Bull & Rider Turquoise & Red Coral Mosaic Inlay.

It is signed by M. Nezzie. I am not certain but I am pretty sure that this is Navajo.

It measures 2 ½” x 1 ¾” and weight 42 grams. As you can see it is quite substantial.

It dates back to circa 1940 to 1960's. It is not marked as sterling but that is not unusual for authentic Native American Silversmiths/ Artisans.

The detail on the buckle is amazing. Take note on how t is markings to depict the dust being raised by the hoofs of the bull. Then we have fence posts in the background.

Other than some minor surface scratches and some wear to the surface on the back the condition is excellent. T are no missing stones.
