Antique Advertising Store display lid for biscuit boxes. Excellent condition. Original glass and advertising, brushed silver-gold finish on the tin but not as gold as the picture appears. Size: 10 1/2" square, 2" tall. Glass is 8 3/4" x 7 3/4", advertisement is 9" by 1 1/4". The lid is hinged. This lids are extremely hard to find. I have 4 and each one has slightly different advertising or something unique. These would be great to put over your own 10.5" box as a unique display. Marked property of National Biscuit Company patent applied for. This one has National Biscuit Company "Uneeda Bakers" in the green and the top is open where it fits over the box. There is a tin piece extending into the glass on the top that the others do not have.
