Beautifully engraved certificate from the National Bank of Catasauqua issued in 1868 to 1901. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of men working in a mine, two women reepers, cattle grazing and a train. This item is hand signed by the Companys President and Cashier and is over 100 years old. There is a tax revenue stamp affixed to the face of the brown certificate which is common for stocks issued during the Civil War and the Reconstruction Era. The brown certificate was issued in 1868 and the blue certificate was issued in 1900 - 1901.
