Neoclassical gilt and gesso looking glass mirror. Circa 1825. Acorn drops cornice above a puttered frieze with central flower medallion over one short and one long mirror plate. One plate appears to have been replaced. Was rescued by a loyal slave from a North Carolina plantation during General Sherman's rampage of the South. Features light burn marks. 

Dimensions: 48'" H X 29" W. Appraised at $1500, will take $1100. We accept credit cards!
