This is a very nice, ornate cast brass candle holder chamber stick, with an ornate pattern even on the bottom side. It is marked "ROYAL SHEFFIELD" on a bronze plate along with a company logo on the same bottom plate. It is 4.7" tall with a thumb hold type handle (your thumb seems to fit the top of the handle with index finger around the lower handle comfortably). We believe it to be from the mid-late 1800's period. The very top is a random shape with an ornate design on top also. There is very little sign of any casting lines, that means that it was carefully poured and carefully finished after casting process. A very unique antique chamber stick in very good condition!
