Mormon Temple & Seagull Monument PC This is a nice linen postcard postmarked 1951 It has a nice yellow border. On the back it reads in part, This is one of the views on Temple Square taken from the steps of the Assembly Hall. At the left is the Temple Annex. At the right the Seagull Monument erected to commemorate the coming of the Seagulls that destroyed the crickets which were eating the crops of the early pioneers. Postally used. Has two pin holes, one on either corner on the top where someone has apparently had it on a bulletin board. Some yellowing with age otherwise in very good condition.
