This is an early turquoise Monterey pattern bread or dessert plate made by Bauer Potteries in the 1920s. The mark Bauer Los Angeles was used in that era. It is in excellent condition. The plate is a rimmed style pottery with narrow rings. The plate has no chips or cracks. It does have some crackelure and utensil scratching, these are normal use marks.6.5" diameter.
