Mollus is the Union Civil War members association. This is 12439 and is thus traceable to Lt. Lindsey Graham, USN. While he himself was not a Civil War vetern, he was allowed a membership based on his brother being a vetern, Captain Isaiah Graham. 30th Pennsylvania Infantry. His brother Isaiah died in 1896 and Lindsey joined in 1898. It appears Lindsey was a midshipman in 1866 (a the academy?) and made LT Commander and is buried at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis.
Beautiful 14k gold medal with the enamel strongly intact. Wear to the ribbon. The combined ribbon and medal is 2.75" in length.
