Early hand carved French baroque style gold leaf mirror frame, featuring floral and foliate open scrollwork along a band of overlapping leaves. The top is crested with a scrolled fleur de lis medallion surmounted by a crown. At the base is a small winged grotesque. The frame measures 36 x 48 x 3 inches outside and 24 and five eighths x 29 and five eighths inches inside. Glowing old waxed patina. Circa 1800. Shipping extra.
