This is an absolutely beautiful porcelain dinner plate by the famous Mintons, England that although flawed I just couldn't get pass up. I brought the plate home recently from England because of the exquisite workmanship and artistry. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter and was made 1902- 1911 for the Philadelphia, PA china shop Wright, Tyndale and Van Roden. The hand painted heavy gold medallions and trim are truly a work of art. This plate is in excellent condition until you get to the middle where there is a large crescent shaped tight hairline. But if you are looking for a wonderful display piece that you don't plan to eat off, this is a wonderful piece and priced accordingly. They literally don't make them like this anymore!
