A beautiful chocolate brown majolica glazed portrait/picture tile done by Minton China Works.Please note I have a companion piece to this tile. They were probably in a fancy piece of furniture in the day. They are not tiles you will see often. The cherub figures are quite wonderful filling the entire tile.Very good condition with only the slightest of flaws, please see image.Some slight surface wear on high relief, couple of white spots are just that not on actual tile, might be light or a speck of dust when I took picture. This and its companion are wonderful and slightly rare tiles to find.They really are prizes for any collector.
