Miniature portrait of Hieronymus Holtzschuer after the original by Albrecht Dürer. Hieronymus Holtzschuer came from an old Nuremberg family, was Burgomaster and one of the seven elders of city government. Text above the picture reads Holtzschuer Anno Do(mi)ni 1526. Comes in beautiful wood oval frame and is protected by a convex glass. In very good condition as shown.
