Miniature Japanese Basque Porcelain Man and Woman on Bamboo Mat This miniature Japanese bisque porcelain man and woman is a typical Japanese art form. The bamboo mat is 9 1/2" X 7" in diameter. The figures are approximately 4 1'2" high. Beautiful Coloring & Intricate detailing including the roasters and wrinkles on face and hands. This was from an estate which designates the item was brought back from Japan after WWII.
