Sit in this Chinese chair and imagine the power, strength and status of its traditional occupant-a person of importance, a person of influence. A comfortable chair even by today's standards. Notice the S-shaped tapering brace in the center of the arm and the other S-shaped curved wood features in the yoke, and back section. The back yoke is carved into four sections with nicely carved aprons above the foot rail. The seat is 20.75" high. Light wood finish.
