Mikimoto Pearls & Silver Brooch Pin
The pin measures 2” across.
The pearls are arranged slightly asymmetrical. To me,it resembles a bunch of grapes in stylized leaves. The large center pearl is 8.5 to mm, 6 pearls are approx 6 to 7 mm. Then on the bottom there is a smaller pearl that is 5 mm.
All of the matching pearls have a rose luster with lovely depth of nacre .
There is a slight blemish on two of the medium sized pearls. The little blips are only visible under high magnification of a jewelers loop and impossible to see with the naked eye. The rest are flawless.
The Silver is lovely bright and untarnished. It is marked silver but I am certain that it is sterling silver.
