This is a truly impressive ring from the renown silversmiths of Taxco. The design is fantastic and I wish the pictures could really express the gorgeous depth of colors in the stone. I was told it was a Saphirquarz stone but the interplay of green within the blue give it almost what you would expect in an opal. It has partial marks for 925, Taxco & Mexico, they were overstruck by the #2 Eagle stamp. It is a size 4.25 and weighs 3.8g.
