MId-Century United Starburst Electric Wall Clock

Vintage, mid-20th century starburst electric wall clock, from the United Clock Corp. of Brooklyn, New York. The United Clock Corp. manufactured electric clocks 1930's-1960's. This retro clock has 12 spokes, each with a black painted wooden ball at its tip. The clock's body and spokes are goldtone metal; the spokes of the starburst curve slightly back toward the wall, creating a convex design. At the bottom of the clock dial is printed "UNITED CLOCK CORP. BROOKLYN, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A." The dial looks to be made of white plastic, with a pressed herringbone design in the center with "United" in silver gray, black numerals with silver gray dots, black metal hour and minute hands, and a red metal second hand. The dial appears to be covered by convex glass. The clock measures approximately 12.5 inches by 12.5 inches, and is about 2.5 inches deep. The dial is a little over 5 inches in diameter. Printing on the back of the clock indicates it is Model No. 69. The clock is in very good working order, and in very good condition overall with light surface wear on the exterior metal parts.
