This is a SO retro coffee pot made by Midwinter, England in the Riverside pattern in the 1950- 1960s. The coffee pot was designed by John Russell and is in the very moderne, retro mid century Fashion shape with avocado green lid, a streamlined shape and is part of the Stylecraft line. The coffee pot measures 7.75 inches high by 7.5 inches long by 4.5 inches wide and is in very good +++ condition with a tiny base chip that doesn't show until the pot is lifted and some crazing which is normal for Midwinter's glaze at this time. Midwinter was acquired by Wedgwood in the late 1960s, after this was made. A super retro coffee pot and very evocative of the era.
