Mid-Century Eames Era Adjustable Table / Desk

Vintage mid 20th century Eames Era metal table / desk lamp in brass and bone finish, with adjustable height. This very cool retro lamp features indirect lighting on an adjustable height stand; the mushroom-shaped shade and bulb holder swivel on the brushed brass stand. The lamp height adjusts from approximately 15 inches to 24 inches, utilizing heavy felt rings to maintain silent and smooth adjustments. The weighted lamp base has a felt-covered bottom and measures approximately 10 inches in diameter. The bone-finished aluminum shade measures approximately 12.5 inches in diameter. Under the shade is a 9.5 inch aluminum reflecting disc; under the disk is a matte black steel ring surrounding the bone-finish aluminum bulb holder. Altogether, the lamp weighs 10 pounds. It is in very good condition with minimal surface wear and loss of finish, although there are small areas of finish loss on the base. It produces a wonderful glowing light.
