Mid-20th century polychrome modernist art pottery vase, believed to be an early work of Dutch artist Johan van Loon. This high gloss piece features 3 abstract figures dancing, and is in red, green, glue, yellow, and white with black outlines. The vase has a white glossy interior. It measures about 3.75 inches high and 4.5 inches in diameter. The bottom has "328" handwritten in black and is signed in midnight blue with "1962" over what appear to be the initials "JVL". Condition is very good , with minimal wear. There is fine glaze crazing. Overall, a very unusual and delightful piece. Shipping / packaging will be $8 - $12, based upon the zip code of the buyer.
