Great retro turquoise, black, and chrome Dazey Iceramic ice crusher from the Dazey Corp., St. Louis, Missouri. This sleek rocket-shaped ice crusher crushes ice finely by turning the handle clockwise, and coarsely by turning the handle counter-clockwise. The bottom container is a hard, shiny black plastic. The top appears to be heavy cast aluminum with a turquoise finish. The lid and handle have a chrome finish. The handle knob is hard, black plastic. This space-age appliance stands approximately 10 inches high and is 4.5 inches in diameter. It weighs approximately 3.25 pounds. The inside of the lid has raised letters identifying it as the Iceramic, listing uses for the ice crushed by this product (VACUUM BOTTLES, HAND FREEZERS, COCKTAILS, FRAPPES, ICE BAGS, SALADS, ADES). It also has arrows pointing right (FOR FINE ICE) and left (FOR COARSE ICE), and THE DAZEY CORP, ST. LOUIS, MO. PAT. PEND 2.
