An original lithograph by Knigin of “The 26th Station of the Kisokaido” after Hiroshige juxtaposed with the New York skyline in the background showing the World Trade Center, circa 1979. 21”x30” on Arches paper. Signed and numbered in an edition of 250. Michael Knigin was born in 1942 in Brooklyn, NY. He attended and graduated from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. During his junior year, he was awarded a Ford Foundation Grant to study fine art lithography at the renowned Tamarind Lithography Workshop, in Los Angeles.
