This is an Tin NICHO framed picture of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is behind glass with reverse painted borders. The glass has some bubbles in it. The picture has been adorned with dried flowers or paper made flower. I can't tell and I have not opened this up to see what all is in there. It measures 12' x 10" x 1".
It is very old. It probably was set where it got too much sunlight. The picture is very faded. The adorments of died thing are loose and some rattle around. They are not in any type of logical arrangment since the loose pieces have shifted around so much. The tin is rusty on the flanges or wings at the top. The rest of the tin looks merely oxydized. Some of the reversed paint work on the borders has worn off. The back of the frame has been pushed in slightly at the bottom. With all that is wrong with it I find in very appealing. I like the rust and fading. It gives it character and shows that it is an oldie. I picked it up a long time ago at a 2nd hand store when driving through some tiny town in Eastern Oregon.
