This Order of Elks 1/4L beaker (factory terminology) or tumbler was made by Nicholas Villeroy and Eugene Francis Boch in Mettlach, Germany in 1905. It is in very good condition with no chips or repairs and the underglaze Elks print has excellent detail. There is an inch long, tight hairline crack at the rim opposite the print (see photos). It is marked Villeroy & Boch Made In Germany on the bottom (see photos) along with an impressed 2368...12...05. This Mettlach Order of Elks tumbler or beaker is 5 1/8" high, 2 7/8" in diameter at the top and 2 3/8" in diameter at the foot.
