| | I have been in the antiques business for 24 years,
taking over my family business in Cardiff, South
Wales, U.K. in 1981, specializing then in Victoriana and Nineteenth Century English Ceramics.
By 1991 I had qualified as a Fine Arts and
Chattels Valuer (Appraiser) and I based the business in the centre of London, in the Kings Road, Chelsea where I specialized in costume jewellery and accessories.
I started selling antique buttons, which I still specialize in. I have a large stock of 1930's/40's plastic buttons which I am able to supply to fashion designers in small quantities.
Through a friendship with a U.S. member of the
American Button Society, I started selling through
goantiques.com in 1999 and it has been a success and I am shop free, although I regularly attend Vintage Fashion Fairs and Markets in London. | | | |
